Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released another project in partnership with Netflix, continuing their multiyear deal with the streaming platform. The new project, titled “Heart of Invictus,” premiered Wednesday and focuses on the Invictus Games, which were founded by Harry in 2014.
The Invictus Games is an international multisport event for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, both serving and veterans of the army. “Heart of Invictus” takes viewers behind the scenes of the event in five different episodes.
The series is the second output from Archewell Productions, following the release of “Harry & Meghan,” which debuted in December. Signed in 2020, the deal between Netflix, Harry and Markle dictated the two were to create and produce a mix of feature films, scripted shows, children’s programming, documentaries and docuseries. According to People, the couple plans to adapt Carley Fortune’s bestselling novel “Meet Me at the Lake” into a film next.
