What you really need to know about Valentino belts for women
Women’s Valentino belts are one of the top 10 most popular women’s belts of all time and something I’d had my eye on for a while. Especially the Valentino reversible belt which has reached cult status as you’re basically getting 2 belts for the price of one. Since designer belts are a bit of an investment piece, I wanted to share my opinion on whether I think they’re worth it or not, where to buy Valentino Garavani belts at the best prices, how to style them and everything else from quality to sizing in this Valentino belt review.

The Valentino Garavani logo belt is one of the most recognized designer belts due to the oversize, reenvisioned V logo.
Who What Wear
What size women’s Valentino belt should I get
When it comes to finding the right size and width to order in womens Valentino Garavani belts consider:
- Your frame.
- What you’re planning on wearing it with.
- Measure your waist.
- Are you planning on wearing it on your hips or waist.
The womens Valentino belt comes in 5 different thicknesses. Starting at 70mm to 8cm. I love wide belts but they can overwhelm my petite frame I’m only 5’2″. So I tend to go for skinny to regular width belts most of the time. If you’re planning on wearing it mainly with jeans, pants or shorts make sure it’s not too wide to go through your the belt loops.
Lastly measure your waist so that you know what size belt to order. The womens Valentino belt generally comes in sizes 65-100:
|Valentino Size||Waist Size Inches|
If in doubt size up not down as you can always have more holes added. I ordered one that was way too big for me as it’s all that they had left in stock and just had extra holes added. It also means that I can wear it both around my waist and my hips.
Why are Valentino belts so popular
Valentino belts have stayed in style for years as they’re such a classic design. It’s a logo belt but not overly so. As in, there’s no logo on the leather belt, just the simple but iconic V logo buckle at the front. Although they do have a monogram belt if you prefer an all over logo print or a simple gold one stud belt if you don’t like logos at all.
The Valentino reversible belt also feels like good value as it’s 2 belts in one. The 2 colors make it really versatile too. I love traveling with it as it means packing 1 belt instead of 2.
It also comes in lots of different widths from skinny to super statement making wide styles. Then there’s the vast choice of colors in everything from monochromatic bright pink to classic neutrals with gold hardware.
Womens Valentino belts are instantly recognizable and tends to come in at a slightly lower price point than Chanel and Hermès but is more luxe than Gucci.
Valentino belt review
If you want a timeless, statement piece that will stand the test of time Valentino belts are worth buying. They’re a classic style that still looks fashion-forward and you can get years of wear from them.
I take a lot of time before making a final decision when it comes to designer purchases. I knew I wanted a Valentino reversible belt in a neutral color as I already have a black Chanel belt, Chanel gold chain belt and ridiculously big belt collection but was missing anything like this. Although I do have my eye on the black and red one as the red is such a statement accessory. As well as the silver crystal belt as it’s so glam and you know how much I love sparkly things.
Personally I prefer the Vlogo to the stud and wanted a thickness that would work with my belt loops so that narrowed down the search.
I also knew I’d get a ton of wear out of it and had planned lots of outfit ideas to make sure it gets worn and doesn’t just sit in my belt drawer.
Obviously I did a lot of price comparisons on the Valentino Logo Belt as it varies quite a lot from store to store and you can find some good sale deals. I’ve linked the best prices I could find below.
I feel like you get what you pay for quality wise with this belt. The leather and hardware is sturdy and I feel like it’ll be durable and stand the test of time. So for me this belt was definitely worth it.
