Emily in Paris Style Guide – Inside The Closet

Netflix dropped the latest season of Emily in Paris last month, and we’ve not been able to stop talking about the fashion. While all the characters are incredibly chic, we, of course, have to shine the spotlight on Emily, whose wardrobe is truly what dreams are made of. Vibrant colors, bold prints, and a sea of different styles have become almost sort of a trademark of the show throughout all its seasons. Scene after scene, the fashion game has only gotten stronger and made us stare in utter admiration. So far, we’ve seen everything from super-elevated streetwear to aspirational haute couture.

The costume designers for Emily in Paris made sure that the main character’s style changed and matured just as she grew more confident in each season. While we saw a lot of striking prints, colors, and accessories clashing against each other in season 1, Emily’s wardrobe was evidently more refined with cleaner cuts and slimmer silhouettes in the third season. The shoes and bags were extremely fabulous and elevated the looks even more, but the clothes brought out her personality to the maximum — happy, optimistic, and fearless. Colorful coats, mini skirts, high-waisted trousers, and dreamy dresses form a big part of her style edit.
