Ariana Grande took a nostalgic trip to the ’70s with her recent look at the R.E.M. Beauty pop-up shop on Tuesday in New York City, embracing the Mod aesthetic in a vintage skirt set. The yellow Courrèges set featured a crop wool vest with zipper ring details and a matching miniskirt with chrome metal buckles on each side. Her ensemble also included white paneling throughout.

Grande, who was dressed by her stylist Mimi Cuttrell, completed the retro look with Loewe Curve sunglasses and brown riding boots. When it came to hair, the pop star slicked her blonde tresses back into a ponytail.
The R.E.M. Beauty pop-up shop, which celebrates the launch of the brand’s new Sweetener foundation, officially opened Wednesday in New York City. The pop-up is a two-day activation featuring free ice cream, limited-edition merchandise and shade-matching. The shop is located at 88 West Houston Street.

Along with her beauty brand’s recent launch, Grande has also unveiled a slew of new projects in August. Last week the songstress celebrated the 10-year anniversary of her debut album “Yours Truly” with new live performances of her singles “Honeymoon Avenue” and “Daydreamin.” Grande also debuted her latest fragrance, Cloud Pink, in August, with notes that include amber-y woods, magenta moss and sweetened praline.
As for other ventures, Grande will play Glinda alongside Tony-award-winning star Cynthia Erivo in the film “Wicked,” which is coming to theaters in 2024.
