Denim mini skirts are one of those perennial classics that come out again every Spring and Summer. While the denim maxi might be the most on trend, you can never go wrong with a classic short denim skirt or denim skort. They’re one of those closet staples that are easy to dress up or down and that look just as good with a basic white tank top and flats as they do with heels. Denim everything is a major trend for 2023. Here’s the styles on my wishlist this year from pleated styles to skorts and some denim skirt outfit ideas and styling inspo to get the most wear out of them this season.

Yes they’re a classic you can always wear although it’s the denim maxi skirt that’s more on trend for 2023. However, a denim short skirt is a wardrobe staple and these are the best of them to wear right now.
What are the best denim mini skirt styles right now
You can’t really go wrong with a denim mini skirt. Whether you go for a classic style or something more on trend for 2023 like a pleated denim skirt or distressed Y2K style. For something that’s a bit more of a statement piece look for details like asymmetrical waistbands or hems, or accent buttons.
I also personally love the skorts for being able to get away with a shorter hemline while covering everything that needs to be covered. Especially for getting in and out of cars.

This is the pleated denim mini skirt on my wishlist as it checks 2 trends: pleated skirts and denim. It’s actually a womens denim skort which is way more practical and better for windy days which we seem to get a lot of here in Vegas.

Logomania continues and this Versace print skirt was the most logoed skirt I came across. The fit is gorgeous and so flattering and this brand tends to run true to size. Style it with a tank or crop top for the day or sheer layers and heels for the evening.

For 2023 think about wearing them whenever you’d normally wear jeans. It doesn’t matter whether that’s with a basic tank, crop top, white shirt or with a blazer and heels. It also looks fresh this season with a bomber jacket and white sneakers.
Head to toe denim is also huge so don’t be afraid to wear a matching skirt and jacket set, shoes and bag.
